Doctors Brown, Reynolds, Snow and LeNoir are part of a Richmond tradition of dental comfort and care. They all graduated from the Medical College of Virginia. Dr’s. Brown, Reynolds, Snow and LeNoir have dedicated their professional careers to provide you with the best that dentistry has to offer. They are continually educating themselves and their staff on the newest dental techniques and advances, in order to offer state-of-the-art, comfortable, and personalized care to you and your family.

Dr. Stephen C. Brown

Patient, talented, and friendly, Dr. Brown is a dentist entirely committed to helping his patients achieve beautiful smiles. Although is able to perform all types of general dentistry procedures, Dr. Brown especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry. Improving someone’s smiles and giving them more confidence to the point that it literally changes that person’s life for the better is what Dr. Brown finds the most rewarding.

Dr. Brown grew up in Richmond, attended JR Tucker High School, Virginia Tech, and VCU School of Dentistry. He and his wife, Peggy, started the practice in 1978 in a small building down the block from the current Patterson Avenue location. The office had only two treatment rooms. Now, the practice has grown to 4 doctors, 2 locations, and a total of 17.

When not at the office, Dr. Brown volunteers at the Hope Church Thrift Store, which raises money for Hope Church and charities in Richmond. He also has participated in the Virginia Dental Associations Missions of Mercy Project and Give Kids a Smile Day. To relax Dr. Brown spends time with his 3 children and 3 grandchildren, as well as, sailing in the Chesapeake Bay and the Caribbean.

Dr. Elizabeth C. Reynolds

Gentle and patient, Dr. Reynolds has a way with both adults and children. Her pleasant demeanor provides an ideal compliment to her exceptional dental skill. Her practice is prevention focused in both her pediatric and adult populations, and she takes the time to ensure that her patients are comfortable and relaxed during their dental procedures.

Dr. Reynolds has completed extensive postgraduate courses in pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry. She is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, the Academy of Osseointegration, and an active member of the American Dental Association. Her peers have honored her by inviting her to be a member of the Pierre Fauchard Honor Society and of the American College of Dentists, and she has been recognized as a Fellow of the Virginia Dental Association. She was just voted by her peers as one of the best dentists in Richmond in the survey done by Richmond Magazine!

Dr. Bobby LeNoir

Dr. LeNoir is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry where he was elected vice president of the endodontic club and achieved an award for his skills in prosthodontics. After graduating, he received extensive postgraduate training in the General Practice Residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital Network in Allentown, PA.

Dr. LeNoir hails from Wilmington, DE. Wanting to head south for college, Dr. LeNoir attended the University of Richmond and played on the nationally ranked Spiders baseball team. After four years of college baseball, he was drafted by the Texas Rangers and played three seasons in the minor leagues for the Spokane (WA) Indians, Bakersfield (CA) Blaze, and Sussex (NJ) Skyhawks.

While at the University of Richmond, Dr. LeNoir met his lovely wife Lydia, a field hockey player who is a registered nurse in the city of Richmond. They have four children Benjamin, Lorelei, Adam, and Scarlett as well as, a boxer named Gioia. During his down time, Dr. LeNoir loves grilling and also watching, coaching, and playing sports.

Dr. W. Neil Snow

Dr Snow joined the practice in 2000 after graduating from VCU Dental School in 1999 and completing a graduate program in Alabama. He was born and raised in Richmond, grew up in the Tuckahoe Village area and attended Mills Godwin High School and NC State University. He is married to his wife Molly and they have three children (Ethan, Jack, and Reagan).

Dr. Snow enjoys providing his patient’s with the best dentistry has to offer and takes pride in the fact that the practice keeps up with the latest innovations in the field. He strives to use this information to make his patients as comfortable and relaxed as possible while undergoing treatment in the office. He specifically enjoys providing Invisalign to patients who are looking to straighten their teeth or improve their smile.

When he is not working Dr Snow can be found spending time with his family and friends or trying to improve his golf game!

Dr. Christopher Barta

Dr. Christopher Barta joined the BRSL team in 2019 after spending four years in private practice in Charlottesville. He was born and raised in Richmond and attended Collegiate and Virginia Tech before completing dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University and pursuing a general practice residency at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Richmond Dental Society, and the Spear Study Club.

Over the years in both hospital and private practice settings, Dr. Barta has treated a variety of dental needs ranging from acute dental trauma to cosmetic dentistry. He has also actively pursued opportunities for continuing education in order to stay abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. It is his goal to make every patient feel comfortable and well-informed about which dental treatment is best suited for them.

In his free time, Dr. Barta enjoys going to Smith Mountain Lake, golfing, rooting for the Hokies, trying new restaurants around town with his wife, Ali, and taking long walks with their dog, Brewer.
